Buildings Inspector – Stafford/Hybrid– Salary circa £39k, additional leave and extensive employee benefits
As a Buildings Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in our maintenance and compliance team, conducting comprehensive technical building inspections, including pre/post inspections and stock condition surveys.
You'll need a solid understanding of current building regulations, safety standards, and British Standards. Your diagnostic skills will be essential as you propose effective solutions for defects and develop detailed work specifications.
Your Role:
As a Buildings Inspector, you’ll be at the heart of our maintenance and compliance team.
Conduct thorough technical inspections, including pre/post inspections and stock condition surveys.
Utilize your expertise in building regulations, safety standards, and British Standards to identify and resolve building defects.
Create detailed work specifications that set the standard for excellence.
We’re Searching For:
Professionals with an HNC in a construction-related field and at least 3 years of experience post-qualification.
Experts in diagnosing defects within domestic buildings.
Individuals well-versed in environmental and property legislation, especially within the housing sector.
Candidates familiar with Health and Safety regulations and statutory requirements for housing providers.
Communicators who excel in interacting with customers, colleagues, and contractors.
A valid UK Driving Licence holder.
