On Monday 4th March, RecruitME had the pleasure of exhibiting at the National Transition Event at Silverstone. We were 1 of 19 companies placed in the Military In Business Village and being a veteran-owned company we were surrounded by other veteran-owned companies all of which were supported to start the business by the X-Forces Enterprise and the Military In Business Village shined a spotlight on military entrepreneurship.
The National Transition Event brings together Service Leavers, Veterans and family members with employers and support agencies.
This unique event is designed to underpin successful, sustainable transition for those leaving the Armed Services, Veterans and their families, and to foster and connect Armed Forces communities in society.
This fourth National Transition Event aims to build on the success of 2020, 2022 and 2023, with a larger number of attendees and a focus on building contacts and relationships amongst those who are ex-Forces.
The National Transition Event 2024 is organised by Mission Community and Mission Motorsport.
Mission Community is a newly formed organisation overseeing existing Mission Automotive and Mission Renewable sector initiatives and using the established ‘Mission’ name. The National Transition Event becomes an important pillar of Mission Community activity.
Howard Rudder ½ of RecruitME who co-founded the company was back for his second year whilst Devon Low and Michael Fletcher experienced the event for the first time, The National Transition Event 2024 had fast cars that roared as they went past to the tractors posted up in the pits.
