Monday – Friday with an early (1pm) finish on Fridays.

Our client, an industry leading and well respected auto engineering business, seek to appoint an experienced Crane Engineer (Lorry Mounted Cranes) as they experience continued growth.

They are also a leading specialist vehicle supplier in the UK that fits, services and repairs cranes from all leading manufacturers including Hiab, Palfinger, Cormach and PM.

The business is in a unique position to become a key part of the supply chain to the UK’s construction and transport industries, where there is enormous demand and potential for future growth.

The Crane Engineer will be based at their Grantham manufacturing site, which boasts cutting-edge engineering and fabrication, ensuring the highest quality standards from start to finish.

Candidates with a considerable amount of experience working on lorry mounted cranes are essential for this role.

Crane Engineers should possess over five years maintaining, servicing, and repairing various pieces of crane and lifting equipment LOLER regulation knowledge is required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain cranes, prolonging the life of the equipment through preventative maintenance and servicing

• Reduce crane breakdowns by Preventative Maintenance on component items

• Carry out fault diagnosis and route cause analysis on components after failure

• Completion of Risk Assessment/Method Statements and Point of Work Risk Assessments.

Skills you need to bring to the Table:

• Ideally, you will hold an ALLMI Certification to carry out LOLER testing

• Will consider candidates qualified to [NVQ Level 3] and a considerable amount of experience working on the equipment

• 5 years hands on experience of maintaining, servicing, and repairing various pieces of crane and lifting equipment

• Knowledge and Understanding of LOLER regulations

• Ability to perform and oversee Loader testing.
