The Group Sales Ledger Clerk will have full responsibility for the sales ledger function of the whole business with a real emphasis on attention to detail and relationship building.

Reportable directly to the Finance Manager, the Group Sales Ledger Clerk will be solely responsible and have full autonomy of the Sales Ledger function.
Tasked with ensuring the Sales Ledger function runs smoothly, you will be responsible for issuing/raising all invoices manually, dealing with any business and internal invoices queries ensuring speedy resolution and some Credit Control duties.
Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00.
What you’ll be doing:
Processing / allocating of the daily sales ledger receipts and refunds
Processing invoices, credit notes and self-billers using our bespoke software in an accurate and timely manner
Monitoring a sales ledger email inbox
Working closely with credit control on customer account reconciliations
Dealing with customer queries via phone and email including obtaining remittance advices
Processing and balancing of petty cash for all branches
Providing support at period end with reporting requirements
