Grantham - £28, 000 to £30, 000 + onsite parking + 25 days holiday, excluding public holidays
Monday – Thursday with an early finish on a Friday.
We are on the hunt HGV Fitter / Welders for a market leading precision engineering business at their Grantham manufacturing site.
The business is committed to delivering quality products across the agriculture, aggregate, construction, waste management and haulage industries.
Their Grantham manufacturing site boasts cutting-edge engineering and fabrication, ensuring the highest quality standards from start to finish.
As an HGV Fitter / Welder, you will undertake a variety of fitting and welding work.
You’ll therefore need to be an experienced Fitter and have a proven track record in mechanical work.
What you’ll be doing:
•Fitting new vehicle components across a range of products
•Weld, fabricate and paint work
•Make and fix small components on commercial vehicles
What we’re looking for:
•Demonstrable experience as a Fitter, ideally in a workshop environment
•Ability to use hand and power tools, such as hoists or air-powered devices
•Welding, Fabricating and/or Painting experience
•Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles (advantageous).
