As our Maintenance Plumber, you'll:

- Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the school's building fabric, focusing on day-to-day plumbing maintenance tasks.

- Carry out general plumbing works, including domestic and commercial heating, hot and cold water, and waste services.

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

What we're looking for:

- Proven Experience: Demonstrated recent experience in plumbing and heating.

- Qualifications: City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualification/experience.

- Versatility: Willingness and ability to work at height and in confined spaces.

- Driver's License: Hold a full driving license.

Hours of work:

- Monday to Friday - 08:15 to 17:00, (with breaks and lunch)

- Participation in a standby/on-call rota, with standby rates paid for availability outside normal hours.

You will be paid a standby rate, for each cover period that you are on standby, as follows: Monday – Friday, £25.00, Saturday, £50.00 and Sunday, £75.00, in addition to your hourly rate of pay for time in attendance.
