My client is seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer to join their team, responsible for maintaining and improving our manufacturing machinery and facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
About the Role:
As the Multi-skilled Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing operations.
Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance, troubleshooting machine breakdowns, and liaising with suppliers and contractors.
You will also be involved in general building maintenance to support overall operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and update routine maintenance plans
• Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth operations
• Carry out and organise general building maintenance
Desirable Experience & Skills:
Experience with any of the following would be highly beneficial:
• Pneumatic Circuits & Hydraulics
• PLC programming and fault-finding
• Welding & Fabrication (MMA, MIG, TIG)
• AutoCAD
• CNC Machining & Programming
• Plastic Injection Moulding
• Fault-finding across a variety of new and older manufacturing machinery
• Design & Development of Automated Bespoke Machines
