We are on the hunt for an Auto Electrician HGV for market leading and growing precision engineering business at their Grantham manufacturing site.
The business is committed to delivering quality products across the agriculture, aggregate, construction, waste management and haulage industries.
Their Grantham manufacturing site boasts cutting-edge engineering and fabrication, ensuring the highest quality standards from start to finish.
As an HGV Electrician you’ll undertake a variety of electrical activities to support the production of commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
Product specific training can also be given to the right candidate to ensure our exacting standards are met and you’ll be learning about new electrical legislation and specifications.
What you’ll be doing:
• Create wiring looms and control boxes
• Testing electrical circuits and control systems
• Inspect electrical systems, wiring and equipment to ensure they are safe and functioning properly
• Electrical diagnosis and fault finding.
What we’re looking for:
• Experienced in all aspects of auto electrics
• Capable of reading and creating wiring diagrams (preferably on AutoCAD)
• Able to create wiring looms and control boxes
• Able to fit a variety of products outside and inside the vehicle.
