Grantham - starting salary up to £45k (depending on experience) + onsite parking + 25 days holiday, excluding public holidays
Mon – Thursday 06:00 – 15:00 plus early finish on a Friday.
We are on the hunt HGV Technicians for market leading precision engineering business at their Grantham manufacturing site.
The business is committed to delivering quality products across the agriculture, aggregate, construction, waste management and haulage industries.
Their Grantham manufacturing site boasts cutting-edge engineering and fabrication, ensuring the highest quality standards from start to finish.
As an HGV Technician, you will undertake a variety of fitting and welding activities to support the manufacturing facility.
You’ll therefore need to be an experienced HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic or Mobile Fitter and have a proven track record in fixing and maintaining HGVs and / or commercial vehicles, as well as a background in mechanical workshops.
What you’ll be doing:
• Fitting new truck and trailer components across a range of products
• Make and fix small components on commercial vehicles
What we’re looking for:
• Demonstrable experience as an HGV Technician
• Ability to use hand and power tools, such as hoists or air-powered devices
• Welding, Fabricating and/or Painting experience
•Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles (advantageous).
