We’re working with a family-owned business spanning four generations, dedicated to delivering top quality and value in fresh produce, who are currently recruiting multi skilled engineers.
They manage a vast farming operation and maintain joint ventures in fresh produce. They grow and package fresh, vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our site in Fosdyke.
As a key member of the team, the Multi Skilled Engineer will provide high-level engineering services and technical support to ensure smooth operations, with a focus on reducing downtime through proactive use of the site’s PM software.
18:00 – 06:00, 223 shift pattern – so every other weekend off.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements
• Implement solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime
• Use root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
• Involvement in engineering projects from inception to delivery as required
• Drive towards a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) culture
• Assist in setting machines alongside the operations team
Minimum Skills / Experience:
• Time-served apprenticeship
• Electrical qualifications from a recognised body
• Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body
• NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 or equivalent
• Electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with Logic Control (desirable)
