We’re seeking a Project Installations Engineer to join a growing business in a Monday to Friday role with UK wide travel.

The OTE for this role is £50k per annum with overtime (Paid time and a half) as well as an overnight allowance and a company vehicle with fuel card.

Reporting to the Fire Alarm & Security Manager, you’ll also work with Project Managers pending live Projects to be worked on both UK & Ireland.

My client designs, installs and maintains bespoke and accredited fire protection systems across a number of industries across the UK.

You will lead other Engineers on a day-to-day basis with the running of multiple projects, including organising labour ahead of time on both mechanical and fire alarm installations.

The Project Installation Engineer will work closely with the inhouse design team(s) to promote instructions of change where necessary.

You will be the Technical Lead onsite preferably in the mechanical and fire alarm installations with final decision making / site level, liaising with the design office to resolve issues for immediate remedy and future amendments inclusive of constructive feedback.

The Project Installation Engineer will work closely with the Fire Alarm and Security Manager to program Fire Alarm Panels ready for testing and final commission.

You’ll also be responsible for the commissioning of projects inclusive of pumps, pumphouses and fire alarm and detection mediums and other suppression systems / applications.

Additional training and ongoing professional training will be given to successful candidates.

What we’re looking for:

•Background of working on second fix installations and commissioning of both the fire alarms and suppression systems

•Experience of working at heights / willingness to train

•Willingness to be working away and travelling nationwide

Monday to Friday: The role will require nationwide travel involves staying away when working on sites a certain distance from home.
