Sleaford, £30k, Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday – Full Time Permanent
We are seeking a QA Supervisor candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in quality assurance, particularly within the food manufacturing industry.
As the QA Supervisor, you will lead and supervise the site Quality Assurance team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day implementation of QA functions.
Your role will be critical in ensuring compliance with food safety legislation and achieving the highest possible grades in external audits.
You will also focus on improving food safety, quality, and ways of working, based on the principles of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and People.
About the Client: Our client is Europe’s largest food company. They farm, process, prepare, package, and deliver fresh, frozen, and value-added food products to over 100 countries.
What will the QA Supervisor be doing?
•Leading the site QA team, managing personal development plans to foster growth within the team.
•Contributing to 3-5 key business improvement projects per year, as agreed with the Technical Manager.
•Supervising the daily implementation of Food Safety, Quality, Welfare, and specification compliance systems across the site.
•Ensuring accurate records are maintained and available for reporting on the site’s Food Safety, Quality, Welfare, and compliance systems.
•Providing input into the ongoing development of Food Safety, Quality, Welfare, and specification systems on site.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
